Terms and Condition(s)


1. The Leela Advantage programme is promoted by The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd. (Schloss HMA Pvt Ltd) hereinafter called as the ‘Promoter’.

2. Admission to the The Leela Advantage programme is at the discretion of the Promoter. Only individuals can become members in their personal capacity or as representatives of their organization hereinafter called as the ‘Member’..

3. The Member shall be responsible for seeking necessary clearances or approvals from the concerned officials at his or her company for participation in The Leela Advantage programme. The Promoter will assume no liability onto itself on account of any disputes or differences between the member and his or her parent organization.

4. The Leela Advantage programme is applicable only at the participating hotels listed on ‘The Leela Advantage’ programme website.

5. The Leela Advantage programme is appliable only on non-commissionable business transacted with the participating hotels.

6. Only reservations made by a Member after enrolment in the The Leela Advantage programme will be eligible for earning points.

7. Points redeemed will be deducted automatically from a Member’s booker account once the points have been redeemed.

8. Redeemed rewards are not refundable or exchangeable for cash or for another reward. Once redemption is made and confirmed, no further changes to the reservation will be allowed.

9. Points will be awarded only when The Leela Advantage programme membership number is quoted at the time of making the reservation. Points will be awarded only on materialized and paid-for room bookings and at the point value given on The Leela Advantage programme website.

10. Double points can be earned only when there are special offers mentioned in the Offers Page of The Leela Advantage programme website. A Member cannot earn double points for upgrades.

11. Points will be credited twice in a month (once in 15 Days) for all bookings including FIT, Long stay, Group and Catering.

12. Travel agents can also apply to become a Member of The Leela Advantage programme and earn points on reservations given on net non-commissionable rates. For complete details of The Leela Advantage programme, please contact your relationship manager.

13. In case two of The Leela Advantage programme Members make the same reservation; points will be awarded to the Member whose booking is received first at the hotel. If a Member calls or writes in for a reservation, which is already held through another source, then points will not be awarded.

14. Membership points shall expire in 12 months of earning the same on a rolling basis. Point aging can be monitored on The Leela Advantage programme website.

15. Membership remains valid as long as you have some booking activity during two years of the membership. In case of non-renewal, points accumulated can be redeemed up to six months after the expiry of the membership.

16. Membership and points are not transferable, and points and rewards earned cannot be redeemed against cash. Pooling or transferring of points between Members is not allowed.

17. Points earned will be automatically credited to your account once in 15 days and the same information can be accessed through your unique membership number & password.

18. In case a Member changes his or her company, the membership can be transferred only if the membership is ‘Individual’ and has the requisite approval from the new company. In the absence of the approvals the membership will be terminated.

19. For membership points to be credited, the Member must communicate their membership number while making the reservation with The Leela Reservations Worldwide.

20. For cases where points were not credited inspite of informing the membership number, request should be sent to tla@theleela.com and your relationship manager must be notified.

21. Points earned can be redeemed only through e-gift card called ‘Moments by The Leela’, hereinafter referred to as ‘The Leela Gift Card’ as per the Terms and Conditions listed. Please refer to Gift Card by The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts | Buy Now

22. The Leela Gift Card is transferable and may be redeemed for services available at any of the participating hotels. The Leela Gift Card must be presented at the time of services consumption at the hotel.

23. To activate The Leela Gift Card, customer must register The Leela Gift Card from their mobile phone. Sending of message to the designated mobile number and receipt of due acknowledgement thereto, shall constitute registration of the user and only registered users can redeem The Leela Gift Card.

24. The Leela Gift Card can be used only against eligible purchases. The Promoter reserves the right to define eligible purchases and/or exclusions there from. Please refer to Gift Card by The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts | Buy Now

25. To utilize The Leela Gift card against a hotel stay, the member must communicate the same while making reservation at The Leela Reservations Worldwide.

26. The Leela Gift Card might not be applicable in restaurants on certain occasions like Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day. The hotel retains the right to refuse acceptance of the The Leela Gift card on the said days.

27. All room bookings against The Leela Gift Card is subject to availability and must be made through The Leela Reservations Worldwide. Please specify that payment will be through The Leela Gift Card at the time of making the reservation.

28. The hotel has the right to refuse hotel stay redemption under this programme at any time. No holiday redemptions will be entertained between 20th December and 5th January.

29. Reservations are subject to availability of rooms allocated under the redemption offer at the time of making the booking.

30. The Leela Gift Card stolen or lost may not be re-issued. The Programme Centre (tla@theleela.com) will need to be notified in all such cases to prevent misuse of the said Gift Card.

31. The Member may request for the revalidation of the expired The Leela Gift Card. Upon receipt of such request, The Leela Gift Card may be revalidated after due verification and maybe subject to additional terms and conditions.

32. The Leela Gift Card once issued is valid for a period of 12 months. Any unused balance amount on The Leela Gift Card cannot be encashed or refunded by either the hotel or The Leela Advantage programme team.

33. If the value of the service exceeds the value of The Leela Gift Card, the difference must be paid by the Member through other available payment modes.

34. The Leela Gift Card does not allow any top up or reload. The Member can redeem more points and issue a fresh card.

35. In case of any disputes, Schloss HMA Private Limited reserves the right to identify the authenticity of The Leela Gift Card.

36. Fraud or abuse concerning The Leela Advantage programme benefits are subject to appropriate administrative and/or legal action. This will include the forfeiture of accumulated The Leela Advantage points, the termination of the membership privileges and revocation of membership.

37. The Promoter is the final authority on award of points, or any other matter related to The Leela Advantage programme and its terms and conditions shall be construed, determined, and governed according to the laws of India and the Courts in Delhi shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute or difference arising between any Member and the Promoter under this Programme. All disputes, differences or disagreements arising out of, in connection with, or in relation to The Leela Advantage programme shall be in the first instance be subjected to Conciliation and Mediation. In case the Member and the Promoter fail to reach an amicable solution to their disputes, differences, and disagreements the same shall be decided by arbitration to be held in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Any arbitration pursuant hereunder shall be a domestic arbitration under the applicable law. The place of arbitration will be New Delhi. The arbitration shall take place before a sole arbitrator, who shall be the Corporate Head – Sales & Distribution of the Promoter or a person appointed by him, within thirty days of invocation of the arbitration. The award shall be rendered in English Language and shall be binding between the Member and the Promoter.”

38. The Promoter has the sole discretion to discontinue or withdraw The Leela Advantage programme at any given point.

39. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the terms & conditions of the programme or change the rules and regulations relating to accrual or redemption of points under this programme at any time or adjust the point value as and when necessary to reflect the changing market conditions.

40. The Promoter reserves the right to revoke the membership of a Member without assigning any reason whatsoever, this decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding on the Member. In case of any such revocation the Member will be allowed to redeem the benefits accruing to him under The Leela Advantage programme within sixty days of revocation.

41. Members who select to earn The Leela Advantage Points are not eligible to earn points/miles via other programmes (Like GHA – Discovery Loyalty Program).

42. Members are not eligible to earn points for personal reservations.

43. Any abuse or fraud in respect of the award or redemption of The Leela Advantage reward points may result in cancellation of the accrued The Leela Advantage rewards points and any reward The Leela Gift Card already issued.

44. The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts shall not be liable if it is unable to perform its obligations under the Terms and Conditions, due directly or indirectly, to the failure of any machine or communication system, industrial dispute, war, Act of God, natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, flood or anything beyond the control of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

45. The awarding of The Leela Advantage reward points shall be entirely at the discretion of the Promoter and the Promoter shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or incurred by the Member in relation to or in connection with the membership programme and/or the rewards and/or the goods, services, privileges and rights provided thereunder.

46. The Member hereby authorizes the Promoter to disclose personal information submitted by the member on the member account to third parties for the purposes of the membership programme.

47. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions stated herein and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the membership programme and/or the rewards, the detailed Terms and Conditions of The Leela Advantage programme available on The Leela Advantage programme website shall prevail.
