What is The Leela Advantage (TLA)?

The Leela Advantage is a unique rewards program, which aims at providing recognition and rewards to the Leela Partners who make reservations on behalf of their organization, clients and colleagues at participating hotels of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

Membership to The Leela Advantage enables the members to earn reward points and these points can be redeemed towards The Leela Moments Card enabling them to use the Hotel and Resort services including hotel stays

Who can enroll?

The program is by Invitation only and open to

  • All Individual Corporate Travel Planners/ Bookers
  • All Event Planners and Wedding Planners
  • All Leisure Travel Planners

** The participation in the program has been done solely at the discretion of the member and the Hotel will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of this.

The program is not applicable to

  • Any Travel and Trade Partner towards commissionable individual bookings.
  • Any Destination Management Company representative towards commissionable individual bookings.
  • Any Destination Management Company representative towards commissionable individual bookings.

What happens when I enroll?

  • Member expressed interest for Enrolment (Form duly filled)
  • Enrolment Criteria is evaluated and then Invitation for membership is shared
  • Membership number is generated and shared

How do I earn points?

Member must provide their membership number each time while making bookings at Leela Reservations Worldwide.
Member must mention their membership number on all Group and Catering contracts where points are being earned.
Points shall be earned based on booking revenue provided by the Leela Advantage team.

Points can be earned on the below

Corporate – On Direct Bookings only – Only on Room Revenue (Not on F&B and Ancillary).

  • Points are credited to corporate and individual members for reservations received directly through them booked under public rates, ADHOC rates, rack rate, corporate rates, packages etc. No points are credited if the reservation is received through GDS or has a travel agency profile linked.

Residential Conference / Weddings - Room and Catering Revenue (Not on Taxes, Décor, AV).  

  • Points are credited to Planner partners only for reservations received through them and if the business is not commissionable. No points are credited if the event is received, and contract is signed directly by the end user.

Non-Residential Conference/Weddings – Catering Revenue only (Not on Taxes, Décor, AV),

  • Points are credited to Planner partners only for reservations received through them and if the business is not commissionable. No points are credited if the event is received, and contract is signed directly by the end user.

NOTE : Points are awarded only on materialized and paid-for group and catering bookings

How many points do I earn if I make a corporate booking

  1. When a corporate booking is made, 1 point will be earned for every INR 1000 spent by the Travel Planner who makes the reservation.
  2. Points can be earned for corporate rooms booked under public rates, ADHOC rates, rack rates, corporate rates, and packages, among others.
  3. Points will not be earned if a reservation is received through GDS or has been linked to a travel agency profile.
  4. The hotel reserves the right to not offer points if the rate is already very competitive.
  5. No points will be credited for any cancelled bookings. The Hotel can choose not to offer points if the rate is already extremely competitive. Cancelled bookings will not be credited any points.
  6. No points will be credited for corporate reservations made by Travel agents and event planners which are commissionable.

How many points do I earn if I make a long stay booking

  1. Corporate Long-stays in Hotels and Residences for more than 30 consecutive nights will earn points only on room revenues.
  2. Corporate long-stay reservations earn one point for every INR 3000 spent. This applies to corporate travel coordinators who make the reservation.
  3. In the case of extremely competitive rates (over 30 nights), a hotel may decide not to offer points.
  4. Any crew or quarantine led business is not applicable.

How many Points do I earn if I give a group booking

  1. In order to qualify for a group booking, one must book a minimum of 10 rooms on a peak night. Points shall be earned on Room and Catering revenue.
  2. The Corporate Travel Coordinator will earn one point for every INR 3000 spent on reservations. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned.
  3. Travel Agents making the reservation will earn 1 point for every INR 5000 spent. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned. Travel Agents earning commission on the business cannot earn points as well.
  4. Event and Wedding Planners making the reservation will earn 1 point for every INR 5000/- spent. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned. Event and Wedding Planners earning commission on the business cannot earn points as well.

How many points can I earn on Catering only bookings

  1. Non-Residential Conferences / Social Events shall earn points on the catering revenue materialized. Bookers will not earn points on restaurant and other ancillary Hotel spends.
  2. Corporate Travel coordinators making the reservation will earn 1 point for every INR 3000/- spent. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned.
  3. Travel Agents making the reservation will earn 1 point for every INR 5000/- spent. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned. Travel Agents earning commission on the business cannot earn points as well.
  4. Event and Wedding Planners making the reservation will earn 1 point for every INR 5000/- spent. A maximum of 2000 points can be earned. Event and Wedding Planners earning commission on the business cannot earn points as well.

How frequently can I see my points earned?

Points earned will reflect within 30 days from date of materialization of the business. In case of Groups and Catering Business, points will only reflect once the entire payment has been received by the Hotel.

How many points can I accumulate and until when?

Points will expire within 12 months from the time the points reflect in the Member’s account. Member's can check their updated points statements online.

What do I do with all the points in my account?

Points can be redeemed against “Moments by The Leela” Gift Card which can be used towards hotel stays and services. Members can carry out all The Leela Advantage redemptions on their accounts online.

What’s the minimum no of points in which I can get a redemption card?

Minimum reward points required for redemption is 50 points and can be modified at any given time at the discretion of the management of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

What’s the minimum value of the redemption card?

The minimum value of the redemption card is INR 1000/-.

Can I get any other gift voucher apart from The Leela Moments Card?

We currently offer only Moments by The Leela as a redemption option. The Leela Moments Card will be issued only in the name of the member itself. Moments by The Leela gift card will only be issued in the name of the Member. Once issued, requests for the card to be transferred/modified/cancelled will not be accepted.

How do I redeem my points?

Members can submit their request for redemption of points through their account accessible on The Leela Advantage microsite at https://tla.theleela.com/.

    What happens when I do not redeem points?

    Points will expire within 12 months of earning and hence should be redeemed in time. Member's can check their updated points statements online.

    What happens when some of my bookings are not reflected in the point statement

    Members should mention their membership number at the time of making any reservation at The Leela Reservations Worldwide or signing of Group and Catering contracts in order for points to be awarded. Retro adjustments of missing points will not be encouraged under the The Leela Advantage program.

    How can I enrol into The Leela Advantage program ?

    The Leela Advantage is a by invite only loyalty program. Please contact your relationship manager, should you wish to enrol into the program.

    Can I enrol on behalf of someone?

    The Leela Advantage is an individual member loyalty program.  

    Can Multiple people from the same company enrol

    Multiple people from same company can enrol in the program.

    Is there an expiry as a member?

    There is no expiry date for the membership however in the absence of any account activity within a period of 24 months, the membership shall lapse.

    Will my membership remain valid in the event that I switch companies?

    While the membership may be transferred to a new company, it is imperative to provide written notification in advance regarding any changes in your employment status.  

    Whom should I contact if I am unable to remember my login password?

    Please utilize the 'Forgot Password' option on the website to reset your login credentials.

    Is there a cap on the points that can be awarded for a single event?

    The maximum number of points that can be earned is 2000 points. Additionally, planners who receive commission on business will not be eligible to earn points.

    Will I be awarded points for business I have influenced but not signed the contract?

    Points cannot be credited for business which has been influenced but not signed the contract. For any exceptions your relationship manager can speak to the Leela corporate team.

    Can I combine my redeemed card with cash to avail in the hotel services

    Yes, ‘Moments by The Leela’ gift card can be combined with cash or any other mode of payment to avail hotel services.

    Can the Moments by The Leela gift card be gifted to friends and family?

    ‘Moments by The Leela’ gift card is non-transferable and cannot be gifted to friends and family.

    Is there a minimum and maximum limit to the gift card redemption against my points?

    Minimum reward points required for redemption is 50 points. Moments by The Leela gift card is available in a maximum denomination of INR 10,000/-. Members can redeem multiple gift cards depending on accumulated points.

    Will my points expire after a certain duration of non-usage?

    Points shall lapse in 12 months of earning and hence should be redeemed in time.

    Is my membership transferable

    While the membership may be transferred to a new company, it is imperative to provide written notification in advance regarding any changes in your employment status.

    Can I use the ‘Moments by The Leela’ gift card at any time including blackout dates?

    Moments by The Leela gift card is redeemable towards hotel services subject to availability.

    Who can I contact when I want to use ‘Moments by The Leela’ gift card?

    You can write into Leela reservations worldwide while making your stay booking using the gift card, or inform your relationship manager when you wish to redeem the same.

    Can points can be redeemed online from my membership account?

    Points can be redeemed only online from your membership account.

    Will I earn points on my personal stay?

    Members cannot earn points on personal stays.

    Can I earn points of both The Leela Advantage as well as Discovery Loyalty Program?

    Members can earn points only on one program and not on both.
